Visit to Oxfordshire: Rousham, Spelsbury and Church Enstone

Wednesday 8th June 2022

We will visit two great estates:  Rousham and Ditchley Park as well as the village of Church Enstone.

The first estate of Rousham boasts a beautiful old house and glorious garden built in 1730’s when it was built.  We will visit the Old Rectory on the estate and the church of St. Leonard and St. James.  We will go on to a visit to the second estate, Ditchley Park, which has existed since Tudor times.  We will visit the churches on the estate and the old rectory, lived in by one of our members.  After lunch we will visit Church Enstone and St. Kenelm Church and finally repair for tea at the Old Vicarage belonging to another couple who are our members.

For fuller details please see the Information Sheet/Application Form which was inserted in our March 2022 Newsletter.  But you can also find it by clicking on the tab Future Visits and Logging-In to the Member’s Area.  Then from the Future Visits tab you can then download and print the sheet out, fill it in, and send it off to the visit organiser (address at the bottom of the sheet).
